Trekking in the Alta Badia and Val Pusteria valleys
Some of the best hikes in South Tyrol
If you have already spent a summer break in the Dolomites and in the Val Badia/Gadertal or Val Pusteria/Pustertal valley in particular, you will not be surprised to hear that this area is a magnet for passionate hikers.
The Pradel Dolomites chalets, strategically located in the village of San Martino in Badia/St. Martin in Thurn, are the perfect base to explore the marvellous routes that criss-cross this trekking Mecca.
Hike on the paths of the Trú Vistles circuit starting right on our doorstep, climb up the Alpine heights of Mt. Sass de Putia and explore the picture-perfect villages of Longiarú, San Vigilio di Marebbe/St. Vigil and La Valle. The Sellaronda might be famous as a ski-touring route, but in summer it becomes an equally spectacular trekking circuit around the Sella massif. It takes 4 days to negotiate its entire route leading to Corvara, Selva in Val Gardena, Canazei and Arabba through the Pordoi, Sella, Gardena and Campolongo mountain passes. The Sellaronda is a challenging but rewarding experience that requires good fitness, some curiosity and lots of enthusiasm. Come spend your summer holidays in the Dolomites – you will not regret it!

The highest golf courses in Europe
Blue skies and green expanses
Golfers spending their summer holiday at the Pradel Dolomites have the chance to play on fantastic courses, two of which are in the vicinity of our chalets: the nine-hole courses of the Val Pusteria Golf Club and Alta Badia Golf Club are just a short drive away. However, if you prefer to go the full 18 holes you can swing your days away at the San Vigilio Siusi Golf Club – also in South Tyrol – or cross the Austrian border for a day trip to the Lienz Golf Club. Host Juri will gladly accompany you on a golf tour in the Dolomites.
