Visiting our alpine farm
Unique experiences, traditional recipes and delicious home-made products
Our estate comprises an original alpine farm, located a short walk away from the Pradel Dolomites chalets, which is open for visits on demand. If you visit in the early evening, you will have the chance to see the milking and feeding of animals – a nice family experience! Children can have fun looking for the eggs produced by our forty hens, making friends with the piglets, donkeys and bunnies in our petting zoo, and of course playing in the play area on the grounds. Guests looking to zest up the experience with a palatable twist are welcome to taste the traditional Ladin recipes from our kitchen, like balotes, tutres and cajincí, as well as our home-made products like speck and sausages.
Ski holidays in the Dolomites
Alpine skiing, snowboard and more in the Dolomiti Superski area
If you stay at the Pradel chalets during the cold season, you will find yourself immersed in a winter paradise with the finest pistes of the Alta Badia valley and the Dolomiti Superski – the world's largest ski circuit – just a stone's throw from your doorstep. If you like skiing, snowboarding, sledding or winter trekking, this is the place to be... and the panorama is simply breath-taking!
The slopes of Alta Badia, which are part of the Dolomiti Superski circuit, attract throngs of visitors with two special highlights: the Sellaronda circular tour and the First World War ski tour, both negotiable either clockwise or anticlockwise. Expect cutting-edge lift facilities, groomed pistes, huts and restaurants serving traditional cuisine and lots of fun and adrenalin.
The Pradel chalets and the idyllic landscapes of San Martino in Badia are also the perfect setting to enjoy the pleasures of an Alpine Christmas. Curl up in front of the fireplace with a steaming mug of mulled wine, relish the tranquillity of a winter night in good company and soak up the magical atmosphere of the Christmas markets in San Vigilio/St. Vigil di Marebbe, Corvara, San Cassiano/St. Kassian, Brunico/Bruneck, Bressanone/Brixen or Bolzano/Bozen.
